·         Secure immediate dialogue facilities between sellers and buyers

How can I become a Qualoria Premier Member?

Firstly, you need to Register as a Qualoria Member (see “Why do I need to Register?”). If you only need to “Post an Asset” then you only need to be a regular Qualoria Member since this enables this function and it’s completely free.

If you qualify for our Complimentary Upgrade to Qualoria Premier Membership then you will be notified by email within 2 weeks of initial registration. Please check that emails from Qualoria are not sent to your junk email or spam folders by adjusting your email settings. Complimentary Upgrades are made available to eligible businesses at the discretion solely of Qualoria.

Otherwise to gain access to the Qualoria Premier Membership then you need to subscribe with a competitive annual membership fee - either with a single or Multi-User account. The fees are lower than the cost of attending just one partnering meeting each year. For subscriptions click on "Contact Us" in the Qualoria header and select "Subscription Enquiry" stating whether you require a Single User or MultiUser subscription.

What are the fees and how can I pay to upgrade to Qualoria Premier Membership?

The subscription is based on an annual basis and depends on the number of individual users that are needed for your business. MultiUser accounts allow you to allocate separate individual users within one subscription account.

After agreeing to the subscription your business will be invoiced and your Qualoria Premier Membership upgrade will be enabled after the receipt of payment.

How do I Strategically Search for Assets?

Strategic partnering needs are likely to be quite different across the life-science Business Development community. Qualoria has embraced this diversity with multi-facet search technology (see practical aspects in Question “What different ways can I search?”).

For example, if the strategic needs are very precise you could search for one specific disease (by drilling down the disease hierarchy) and specifying only one or all Development/Life-cycle Phases. However, if you are looking for all the opportunities in one Therapeutic Area irrespective of Phase (e.g. All Oncology Assets) or alternatively one phase (e.g. All Late Development assets) then this can be done easily. Similarly you can search by Geographical scope.

Furthermore, you can find assets more holistically with Qualoria! Try using simple Search using words or prefixes (e.g. lipid, rhin or FDA).

Once you have your initial Search Results then you subsequently narrow or widen the Search Filters to modify the number and relevance of results.

Other useful Qualoria functions include ‘Save Search’, ‘Manage your Saved Searches’, ‘Alert Me’ and ‘Featured Assets’.

What different ways can I search to Find an Asset?

There are 3 different ways to Search for an Asset:

-       Simple search by adding a keyword or prefix into the main ‘Search’ field. All Assets containing this word/prefix will be short listed.
-       Advanced Search where you can define the categories (Geographical Availability’, ‘Asset Class’, ‘Date posted’ and define the Lifecycle ‘Stage’ by bracketing those of interest.) with or without including a keyword or prefix.
-       Starting with Directory of Assets in the website header and then narrowing down the results by applying (or then removing) the various category filters in the left column.

No matter how you started searching you can modify your search results by applying (or then removing) the category filters in the left column. In that way you can manage the Assets of interest to a shortlist.

If you are a Qualoria Premier Member then each Asset can be clicked on to reveal the complete Asset details and start a dialogue if the Asset is of interest.

Note, when you have your Search results Qualoria will also show some other related ‘Featured Assets’ on the right column   It’s a bit like finding an interesting book in a library near where you were originally browsing!

If you still need further guidance on ‘How to Find an Asset’, there is a short video on the Qualoria homepage.

What are Save Searches and how do I set up Alerts?

Saved Searches are very useful in a number of ways.  Firstly if you search on the same categories, geographical area, etc repeatedly then you can save this for future use and save time. You can also set up alerts on your saved searches so that whenever a new Asset meets your search criteria you will be alerted. To set up an alert is very easy and requires only one click.

What Asset details do I find with my Search results?

Each search that you run gives you a Detailed Summary of each Asset that fulfils your set criteria. By then simply clicking on the Asset title then you get access the Full Asset details including Attached Documentation.

You can then either ‘Add to Shortlist’ or ‘Start a Dialogue’ in the right column next to the Full Asset details.

How do Buyers and Sellers make contact?

Only a Qualoria Premier Member can initiate a dialogue with a user who posted an Asset. This will be done by the ‘Start a Dialogue’ button in the right column once you have reviewed the Full Asset details. At this stage the seller may have chosen to be anonymous as can the buyer.  It is after the initial contact that the sellers and buyers decide if they wish to continue the dialogue and make themselves known to each other.

How do I know that an Asset description is accurate and valid?

Since an Asset Posting is written by the Business Development professional who is responsible for seeking partners for that Asset, then it is likely to be described accurately since they have the supporting documentation from their business. This makes the data potentially more reliable than third party sources such as databases. The responsibility for ensuring accuracy lies solely with the person/company Posting the Asset. Qualoria is not responsible for the accuracy and validity of the Asset description because Qualoria does not write or edit the content.

As is the norm in Business Development, caveat emptor must be assumed and you should take responsibility for assessing the validity and appropriateness of the opportunity by the usual business process i.e. Full Evaluation and Due Diligence. If you find that an Asset is significantly misrepresented either with regard to ownership or description then Qualoria is commitment to taking steps that the asset is corrected or withdrawn. To report and Asset in this situation use ‘Report an Asset’ in the right column next to the Full Asset details or via ‘Contact Us’ in the website header selecting ‘Report an asset’.
